SERVICES OFFERED AT THE READING ROOM

The following educational services are offered to learners ages 4-Adult:

• Private reading and writing instruction
• Comprehensive testing and evaluation of language/reading/writing abilities
• Diagnosis of learning problems including dyslexia and dysgraphia
• Aid in the determination of ADD/ADHD
• Reading therapy for learners diagnosed with LD, ADD/ADHD, Tourette's Syndrom, Asperger's, and Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Determination of specific learning needs in the areas of language development, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, study strategies, and writing
• Academic tutoring in language development, reading, writing, organization, and study skills
• PSAT/SAT/ACT verbal and writing practice and training
• Guidance through the IEP process
• Conferencing with teachers
